ワールドカップ2014 ドイツ優勝への軌跡① WC2014 How Germany fought ? Part I

見事に、4度目の優勝を飾ったドイツ。この大会での、その優勝までの奇跡を振り返ってみよう。

まずは、グループステージから。

その対象に次の試合は、アフリカのガーナに苦しんだ。ガーナは、初戦のアメリカ戦で敗れており、負ける訳にはいかない状況。初戦を快勝したドイツとは、試合に対する意気込みが、まるで違っていた。

後半26分のクローゼのゴールで、何とか同点に追いついて、勝点1を手にした。

この試合、決勝戦で劇的なゴールを決めたゲッツェが、先制点となるゴールを決めた。

そして、最終戦は、クリンスマン率いるアメリカとの戦い。ドイツにとっては、やりにくい相手。

ドイツは、終止試合を支配したが、決勝点となるゴールは、後半10分にミュラーが決めたものだった。

ドイツのグループステージでの戦いを振り返ってみると、決して、圧倒的な力を発揮して勝ち上がった、という印象はない。

ここぞ、というポルトガル戦には、圧倒的な力を発揮したが、それ以外の試合は、決して楽な試合ではなかった。

優勝するチームは、決勝戦にピークを迎えるように、コンディションの調整を行う、ということがよく言われるが、今大会のドイツを見ると、必ずしもそうは言えない。
